Our Story

Two Eagle Scouts. One loud machine.

MadPatch is two people: Josh and Nic. Two Eagle Scouts who grew up seeking out the next patch, trading them at camp, and sewing them onto everything that stood still long enough. At some point collecting patches stopped being enough. So we started making them.

The machine came first. Josh loves machines the way most people love pets, and one day an embroidery machine followed him home. Nic loves process and technology, so it got dialed in and put to work. Josh curates the designs. Nic tunes the pipeline. The machine does the yelling.

Every patch is made the same way. The design is digitized stitch by stitch, prototyped until the thread sits right, then stitched onto heavy twill and locked in with a merrowed edge in our shop in Delaware, USA. Iron-on or velcro backing, your call.

The catalog is the stuff we actually care about: video games, anime, tabletop, tech, and morale patches for people whose sense of humor runs a little dark. If you have ever defended a niche reference with your whole chest, you are our people.

MadPatch is a nights-and-weekends operation, and we like it that way. No investors, no focus groups, just two people who care too much about thread. Make patches worth wearing, stitch them properly, and get them onto the jackets, vests, and bags where they belong. That is it.
